ENABLE NETSCAPE AUTO DIAL-UP
IN WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION
Here's how to enable Netscape to dial-up automatically in Windows XP
Home Edition:
1. If you haven't done so already, create your dial-up
connection.
Also, create a system restore point, in case you'd like to roll back
the
system after trying these changes.
2. Open Settings/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services .
3. Scroll down to Remote Access Auto Connection Manager and right
click on it. Open Properties.
4. Choose Start-up Type as Automatic and press Apply. Then
press Start. Then press OK.
5. Open Settings/Control Panel/Network Connections, click on the
Advanced tab and choose Dial-up Preferences.
6. On Autodial tab be sure the box is checked next to your
current
location. Leave the other two check boxes at the lower left
clear.
On the Callback tab just click No callback. Press OK.
Disclaimer: Not responsible for any malfunction as a result of
these changes.
